This post is specifically for my milspouse followers - I'm wondering how many of you have taken the 'LINKS' online course on Marine Net Online, or a similar class for spouses?
If you took this course, or one like it, what did you think of it?
You can comment back here, or reply privately to my email, gailegonzales@gmail.com
THANKS!

I have not taken LINKS because well...I'm a dork and researched everything regarding military and military life myself and so I felt like LINKS would be a repeat of things I already knew. I asked my husband if I should take it and he said I was already more knowledgeable than him...but I might do it anyways just to see.
Hi! I'm a new follower of yours!
I took a LINKS class at our current base, but it wasn't online. I did enjoy it, if anything it reminded me of some of the resources that are available. I thought I already knew everything I needed to, but I did end up learning some new things. It might be better for spouses newer to the lifestyle, but I think it was worth it and it didn't take alot of time.
I wish I had known about LINKS years ago, when I first got married.....
I am going through the online course now and am just getting frustrated to see all this information in one place, when so much of it I have had to either find out the hard way, or have tried to find out and COULDN'T. This would have really helped me get through the first deployment.
I do recommend it for new spouses, but when possible I think the in-person class would be better.
I think as a FRG volunteer I will be looking into ways to offer this course in-person for new spouses in hubby's unit.
